Do I need to provide any cleaning equipment or products?
No. We can bring all our own equipment and products.
For scheduled regular cleans, this is an additional £8 per visit to cover cleaning products, cloth washing, and supplies.
For one-off or deep cleans, all products and materials are already included in the price.
If you choose not to pay the £8 product fee for regular cleans, we simply ask that you have:
- a working hoover
- basic cleaning products (multipurpose spray, bathroom cleaner, cloths, etc.)
How do I book a clean?

Do you offer one-off cleans?
Yes — we provide one-off deep cleans, moving/tenancy cleans, and regular weekly or fortnightly services.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
No — as long as we can safely access the property.
Many customers choose to leave a key or provide access instructions.
How do payments work?
We accept cash or bank transfer for all cleaning services.
Invoices can be provided for businesses or self-employed customers.
Can you provide invoices for businesses or self-employed customers?
Yes — we can provide emailed invoices or receipts for businesses, offices, and self-employed clients who want to record cleaning costs as a deductible business expense.
Invoices include the date, service details, and cost, making them easy for your bookkeeping.
We can invoice after every clean, or keep a monthly tab and invoice once per month — whichever suits you.
Are you insured?
Yes — we have a business cleaning insurance policy.
We hope never to use it, but it is there for peace of mind.

We cover Penicuik and surrounding areas in Midlothian, including Roslin, Loanhead, Milton Bridge, Bonnyrigg, Auchendinny, and more.
Are you mobile?
Yes — we are fully mobile cleaners.
We can bring all equipment, hoover, and cleaning products to your home or workplace.
Do you work weekends?
Yes — we operate 7 days a week.
Regular weekly cleans are usually scheduled between 09:00 and 15:00 on weekdays.
Weekends are typically reserved for deep cleans and end-of-tenancy work, as these can often take most of the day.
Can you clean workplaces early morning or after closing time?
Yes — we are flexible.
We currently clean offices after 18:00 and also offer early-morning or evening commercial cleans.

How much does a cleaner cost in Penicuik / Midlothian?
Prices vary depending on the property size and type of clean.
Regular cleans are charged at £22 per hour, while deep cleans and end-of-tenancy work are quoted individually.

How long does a deep clean take?
We complete deep cleans in one day wherever possible.
A typical medium-sized home takes two members of staff around 3 hours inside the property, plus additional time for travel, organising, and cleaning down equipment — all included in the price.
Larger houses, shops, offices, or industrial units may take longer.
What’s included in a regular clean?
We tailor regular cleans to each customer.
Typically, we attend for 2 hours per visit and cover the basics:
- hoovering
- bathrooms/toilets
- kitchen surfaces
- general cleaning
Once the property is consistently maintained, we can start adding extra tasks such as:
- organising rooms
- cleaning inside cupboards
- additional detailed work
Some customers leave a small note each visit with specific requests — which we’re happy to follow.
What’s included in a deep clean?
A deep clean is a focused and thorough service, including:
- all hoovering and mopping
- dusting
- skirting boards and detailed edges
- bathroom and kitchen scrubbing
- all general surfaces cleaned to a high standard
We aim to leave everything as fresh and clean as possible.
Do you clean ovens or appliances?
Yes — ovens, fridges, microwaves, and other appliances can be added to your deep clean or end-of-tenancy service.
Please mention this when booking, as oven cleaning takes extra time and requires specific products.
This is charged at an additional rate.
Do you bring your own hoover?
Yes — we bring our own hoover for one-off and deep cleans.
For regular cleans without the £8 product package, we ask that you have a working hoover available.
Can I book a last-minute clean?
We do our best to accommodate urgent or last-minute bookings depending on availability.

Do you offer end-of-tenancy cleaning certificates?
We can provide an emailed confirmation of the clean showing the date, service details, and cost, suitable for tenants, landlords, and letting agents.
We can also provide an invoice if required.
Can I book a one-off clean without committing to a schedule?
Yes — one-off cleans are welcome and do not require any ongoing bookings.
Do you offer eco-friendly cleaning products?
Yes — eco-friendly products can be used on request at no extra cost.
Are pets okay during the clean?
Yes — pets are perfectly fine as long as they do not interfere with the cleaning.
If your pet is anxious, you may prefer to keep them in another room.
Do you offer key-holding for regular customers?
Yes — we can securely hold a key for regular clients.
Keys are stored safely and never labelled with your address.
Will you move furniture when cleaning?
We can move small, lightweight items such as chairs and small tables.
For safety reasons, we cannot move heavy furniture or large appliances.
However, if you need heavier items moved, let us know — we can arrange two members of staff for that visit.
For example, a 2-hour clean for 1 cleaner becomes a 1-hour clean with 2 cleaners — the same cost, but allows heavier lifting.
Do I need to tidy before you arrive?
No, not particularly.
We clean — and you’ll be surprised how much we can get done in a 2-hour slot.
How should I prepare for a deep clean or end-of-tenancy clean?
Please remove personal items from surfaces and empty cupboards if you want them cleaned inside.
Make sure water and electricity are working and that we have property access.
We’ll take care of everything else.
